Joy of Life

Chris means that he believes that there are probabl a surplus of people who are tired of following the rules of "perfect" life. Get up every morning, get ready for work or school, do the same thing everyday with only two days off from each week (depending on where you live). It's like reading the same five pages of a book everyday, reading two new pages, then reading it all over again. Yes, he was right. An abundance of people want to get out into the world, do something different for once in their lives for a ch ange. They just don't have the guts to do it because it's "abnormal" or "dangerous". The feeling of being safe, knowing what or when their next meal will be, coming to the same house everyday & having a good social status may make them feel as if their on top of the world. Yet, they still have some weight on their shoulders. The ways that Chris embraced then exemplified those beliefs were that he dropped everything and left on an adventure. With no money, no car, barely any food or clothes. Everyday something completely different happened to him, he simply just went with the flow, took the extra weight off his shoulders and left. He stopped caring about society wanted from him and thought of him. My life has been conditioned to a life os security, conformity and conservatism by me being held from doing a lot of the things that's considered "unethical". I would say that I kind of care a lot about what people think of me. Most of the time I'm always trying to adjust my personality to however I think the person I'm hanging out with until I feel comfortable enough around the person. I always want to be accepted. Most of the time I can't do the things that I think are fun because myy dad keepss mec on a short leash. If. Chris McCandlesmet me, he would probably question why I always care. What people thhink about m. He might encourage me to do what makes ME happy. Not my father, not my sister, me. He's going to tell me to live my life for me.

The Death of Audrey Mestre

Was it a mistake? Was it purposely done? These are the questions that almost everyone who knows about Audrey Mestre's death in 2002 in La Romana has. Audrey was a french "No Limits free diving" diver. On October 12, 2002, she submerged towards the ocean floor, determined to descend a world-record 558 ft. below the surface. No human has ever went before with one last breath & no air tank to survive with. Sounds dangerous, right? Of course, so why so many questions directed towards her loving husband Francisco "Pipin" Ferreras? Whether it was an accident or not even the simplest mistake could have risked someone's life.... & it did. IF it was a mistake. That would be the third mistake that Pipin made. Those three people's lives were in his hands & he had dropped them all.

There are lots of reasons for Mestre's death. Yes, it is a coincidence that three people had died while under the supervision of Pipin. Even Pipin himself had died a few times and came above the surface unconscious just as Audrey did, even after his years and years and years of training & diving. Had it been the so-called "god" that he summons every night called Olokun? After all, Pipin did replace her with Audrey. Maybe his Santeria god had done it because she was jealous of his one & only love. Pipin would have no reason to purposely kill his only true love. The one that can go just as deep as him such as no other girl he's been with. She could go deeper, finally someone who can. If he had done it, he wouldn't have went home & cried for weeks. Some say the tattoo of the mermaid in the shark on his calf muscles symbolizes that that's where she lives now, in the water. Other believe that the tattoo means that her death was purposely done. You decide.
